New Found Fren

We = Me and Qin Hui went prawning at Bishan today. He promised to catch at least 20 which will constitute my lunch for tomorrow.

Was not a good start. But after 30minutes or so, it went well.

A group consisting of 3 kids were playing around our area. Being me, naturally i became fast friends with them.

A boy in the group caught my attention. Perhaps its my sixth sense again, that I feel he is lonely, lonely for family attention.

Chatting with him was easy. He talked alot. We let him have a go at prawning a few times. The look on his face when he caught some, were pure indulgence of a child's innocent smile.

Seemingly, I asked his friend in the group if his parents were around. She was another talkative young kid. The boy named Wen Cong, came from a divorced family. He stays with his dad now. His mother visits him every 2 wks.

Because his dad was always gambling, and doesnt hold a proper job, the girl's mother brought him along everywhere they go.

Hearing the story naturally further softens my heart towards this little boy. Its always the kids who suffer in these cases.

He definitely wants to be able to lead a normal life, to be able to feel motherly love and parental love. I cannot comment further.

I gave him my number to call me if he needs help or just to chat.

I dont care if others think I am crazy. I just feel that being a friend to this boy may help lessen the pain he feels deep down for the lack of love around home.

I hope all goes well for him.

Wednesday 11/03 B +

Cousin and me went for a drink on Wed. Words cannot describe how its like to have a companion during your down times. She doesnt talk much. But its good enough. Because she understands my pain.

We people watched in the club....was being mean laughing at some silly dance moves. No cute guys though. There was a guy who was drunk. And he was waving his hands feriously against the beat of the music. It was entertaining to watch. I wondered if he was curious why his arms feel strained and tired when his alcohol clears off.

We camera whore outside the stretch of clubs along clark quay river. I laid on an operations table, Wheel chair, pillars, river, lights. Things we do to get things off our chests. Silly.

Logged on to Facebook when home at 3.30AM. CZ was online. Surprised but happy to have a chat. She had some of my fav songs in her computer. Sweet.

Dont you find it strange why everytime you are down or unhappy there are always some friends / people who surface and accompany you through?

By the time i logged off at 5AM, there were 6 online facebook users, even more than when i logged on a few hrs ago. I scratch my head at the perculiar sight. There are more late night goers than i thought.

Maybe i should "JIO" them for clubbing next time, we can form a facebook clubber club..how does it sound?

Beach Whoring

Bought a nice pretty Cerisi dress for my niece. Was shocked that it costs more than what i usually pay for my own top. But seeing my niece twirling it around like a princess made it all worth.

Wondered if she will remember me- "the aunt who buys her stuff" when she grows up.

Was beach whoring with CZ, Willie and Xiao Jie. Got tanned like dark chocolate. Haha. My wrists are swollen from playing volleyball. Good exercise.
CZ made a Emperor like hat made out of the Sentosa Map. Wahaha. She wore it during the volleyball game. Was a real silly look. We had it on Camera!!!!! Will be uploaded soon on FB.

Little Min Min 2 yrs old arrived. Big eyes, chubby thighs and cheeks, she was a lovely sight. She had a Nemo Cap which CZ again snatched to wear for the rest of the day.

It was a hilarious sight. Because the cap was way too small.

Finale was at the " Songs of the seas" musical fountain. More for kids entertainment if you ask me. But $8 was not too bad a price to see fireworks and some lovely musical fountain.

My Saturday & Sunday

Saturday: Breakfast at Mac at 10.45AM. Just in time.

Followed by a friendly game of tennis. We had only 4 tennis balls. ** rolls eyes** Dont laugh. We were picking balls more than playing it. You can picture it. We tasked Huijie to go "steal" the balls stuck on the fences on the next court. There were 5 in total. Which made up 9 balls for us to play. It was a fun game. I had a great time. Huijie should have played though... we will force her to play the next time.

I rushed off to do make up for a choir team at ACJC Auditorium. Spent 7 hours standing. 5 " unfortunate" choir members chose my station. Haha nevertheless I did a pretty good job i feel.

My stomach was growling. Luckily Wilson called to JIO late dinner. Like his car which can be pretty fast. And its WHITE. One of my fav colors.. Ate Waffles at Happy Daze-Serangoon.

Sunday: I went see a medium who calls in "JiGong" on Sunday. Boy, was worried about what to expect throughout the wait before my turn. Sweaty palms and heavy heart beats accompanied me. Spent 4 hrs there.

Spent the rest of day in bed.

Verdict: Nice weekend. Nice exercise. Will play tennis again every week as long i can drag my friends to go... haha
